Purple Yoga needed a simpler, more user-friendly website that could be used to promote more offerings like workshops, retreats, and teacher training.

From kick-off to launch, this project took place over 4 months in 2021.

I audited the site, mapped out the new information architecture and page content. I also created all the graphics using existing photography. I also consolidated and rewrote copy to have a simpler, more approachable tone. Squarespace was my best friend in this redesign and did the hard part.
Information architecture
The goal was to simplify and consolidate overlapping or duplicate content. I reduced the amount of items in the navigation menu from 32 down to 15 and the numbers of pages on the site from 37 to 20, making key tasks like scheduling a class and viewing workshops much easier for clients to find.
Art & Copy
The goal was to give the new site a look and feel that communicated Purple Yoga’s approachable philosophy. As the sole designer on the project, I created all of the graphics and put the site together using a website builder. I also wrote/rewrote all of the copy to add a friendly flavor to the existing messaging.
