Esri User Conference 2020
A digital event with 80K+ registered attendees
About this project
-
Esri User Conference is the world’s largest GIS (geospatial information systems) conference that takes place in San Diego every year with over 18,000 attendees. In 2020, we quickly re-imagined what has been an in-person event for over 50 years as a fully-interactive online experience that over 80,000 people attended from the comfort of their homes.

I created the UX and UI for the home page experience that aimed to feel as awe-inspiring as walking in person into the convention center on the first day of the conference.
I also did the UX and UI for the actual event experience. I worked with over 100 Esri employees across various teams and Freeman Online, a digital event platform, to make UC come to life.
